Laura has twenty-four years of bedside hospital experience, in both teaching and community hospitals, in NYC, CA, and CT. Laura is currently a staff nurse in a large ICU, a Rapid Response Team (RRT) nurse and a relief charge nurse. She responds to patient emergencies, such as: codes, strokes, falls, and Rapid Responses. She is experienced in the many types of EMR, such as Epic, as well as hospital equipment including: restraints, hospital beds, wheelchairs, IV pumps, ventilators, and dialysis machines. Her special interests include falls and hospital-acquired infections. Laura worked the frontlines throughout the Covid pandemic and is happy to answer any questions related to hospital care.
